This painting was made for my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary that the whole family is celebrating on Wednesday at their home in Richland, WA. I spent the 70's there as a child before I moved away to Arizona. For some reason looking back this color combo along with the 70's icon the owl just seemed appropriate to paint.
